Founder and Tutor
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from Yale University. I’ve loved performing since childhood—it’s what first helped me find my voice and confidence. That same passion for creative expression informs my longstanding commitment to education and youth development. During my senior year at Yale, I founded an SAT prep class for under-resourced students at a New Haven high school, sparking what has become over 12 years of experience as a tutor and coach.
I work with students from elementary school through college on a wide range of subjects, including SAT and ACT preparation, as well as academic areas including all levels of math, science, English, history and Spanish. I also specialize in executive functioning coaching, helping students strengthen their skills in time management, organization, task prioritization, and focus. For students with dyslexia, I specialize in the Orton-Gillingham multisensory approach to support foundational literacy skills and long-term success.
In addition to my academic work, I am a professionally trained actor and a member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, with credits spanning Off-Broadway theater and roles on network and streaming television (my IMDb). I have taught theater classes in Los Angeles at Inner-City Arts and The Unusual Suspects, and serve on casting committees at The Wildwood School. Whether students come to me for academic support, standardized test preparation, or artistic development, I provide a thoughtful, personalized, and holistic approach that supports their growth and confidence.
